What Readers Are Saying

Real insights from readers who've discovered how SISZO helps finish what matters most.

Thanks for sharing the advance copy of your INCREDIBLE book! I know what it’s like to define & build a new category and how tough it is to get people to understand it, but more importantly, embrace and execute with it. Act Two really jumped out to me because it’s a great mix of what needs to be done and how to do it, with practical application through the prompts that you shared.

A clear and actionable walk through of a huge challenge, that honestly exists in every part of life. Strong hand-holding, and I love the parallel story making it real, memorable, and enjoyable!

Joya gets it. The big ideas, the unfinished projects, the gap between knowing and doing. If that's you, this book isn't going to give you the same advice you've already tried. It's a different lens, a different idea — and for a lot of people, it's the one that finally lands.

I read an advance copy of SISZO and I am excited for others to find it. I found it to be very helpful and inspiring! The core idea is that a lot of us aren’t bad at productivity, we’re just overloaded with projects that sit in that 70–90% done range. The book calls it the “Room Full of Almost". The book does a great job of identifying the stages of a project, especially where it gets stuck and how to adjust to get things past the finish line (without overcomplicating it). It also shifted how I think about using AI (not just for brainstorming, but also for breaking down and finishing tasks). I will definitely be using some of the ideas and prompts I picked up in this book. It’s a quick and accessible read. I’d highly recommend it if you tend to have a lot of things sitting in the "Room Full of Almost" and want help identifying a clearer way to actually finish them.

You know - I struggled for YEARS with starting things and not finishing them. I love building things, but often the excitement of starting a new thing overrode the desire to actually finish the current thing. I have succeeded a few times with actually finishing, but it ended up feeling like such a huge lift, and it took the excitement out of me getting done so I can learn from the result. This book helped me understand how to leverage technology to take that enormous lift off of finishing. Tech has really come a long way, and I'm glad Joya's dug deep on this. This book will eliminate a ton of frustration for people who build.

I loved this book. It’s easy to read, genuinely fun, and surprisingly relatable—even as someone who doesn’t consider myself ADHD. I saw myself in so many of the patterns, especially as a creative (and a bit of a perfectionist who tends to push deadlines… guilty!). One idea that really stayed with me was: “What’s the smallest version of this that can be real today?” That question alone helped shift me out of the “stuck zone”—that frustrating gap between having an idea and actually bringing it to life. What I appreciated most is how practical it is. It doesn’t just name the problem—it offers simple, doable ways to get unstuck, restart projects, and keep momentum going. I especially liked the idea of using a “sidekick” for accountability and even incorporating AI as part of the creative process. If you’re an idea person or creative who struggles to follow things through, this book gives both insight and real tools to help you move forward.

More Words from Our Readers...

The premise of the book is very interesting, but the best part are the specific and easy to use instructions for AI to help organize everything and complete our goals. Definitely need to go back through this more carefully and try out more of the things.

This book presents a strong, relatable idea about the challenge of finishing work and captures that “almost done” feeling in a way that feels honest and accurate, especially for people who generate ideas quickly but struggle to ship them. The sidekick concept is practical and gives a fresh, structured way to think about using AI for completion, and overall it comes across as a thoughtful, useful guide that could genuinely help the right reader move from constant starting to actually finishing meaningful work.

If you are seeking practical strategies for completing work and overcoming creative obstacles, I highly recommend "SISZO" by Joya Jones. This book is highly structured and accessible, specifically designed for high-capacity, neurodivergent readers who encounter difficulties with the final 20% of projects. The book offers actionable advice, step-by-step frameworks, and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach. The text aims to facilitate participation by providing immediate, practical protocols and AI prompt templates, along with straightforward rituals and exercises. It closely aligns with themes of daily practice, low-barrier participation, and the use of structured protocols to advance work.
